Scholarship Description

Scholarship for minority teacher candidates who rank in the upper half of their class or have a minimum 2.5 GPA. Must be a U.S. citizen and Kentucky resident enrolled in one of Kentucky’s eight public institutions. Must teach one semester in Kentucky for each semester the scholarship is received.

  • Type of institution award is open to: two-year college
  • Type of institution award is open to: four-year college
  • Must be American Indian/Alaska Native
  • Must be Asian/Pacific Islander
  • Must be Black, African American
  • Must be Hispanic, Latino/a
  • Award is available to U.S. citizens
