Scholarship Description
The Aronovitz Family partnered with The Miami Foundation to honor the memory of the late Judge Sidney M. Aronovitz. Judge Aronovitz stood as an example for the community, excelling in his chosen profession and always thinking of those less fortunate than himself. Scholarships are awarded to Miami-Dade County minority students planning to continue their education through the university-level and pursue a career related to the legal field or social-justice issues.In order to qualify, applicants must: (1) Plan to pursue a career related to the legal field or social-justice issues – striving to ensure social fairness and equity in society and working on behalf of marginalized groups; (2) Be a minority graduating high school senior or a GED student no older than 19 years of age attending a Miami Dade County Public School; (3) Have a minimum GPA of 3.0.For more info, see https://miamifoundation.org/scholarships
