Scholarship Description
To be eligible, applicants must attend their present institution or another providing accredited floriculture course work during the next academic school year. Since specialization might not occur until later in four-year schools, preferences will be given to upper division applicants. Applicant should be an undergraduate student enrolled in an accredited four-year college or university in the United States or in a California community college. S/he should also be majoring in a degree program related to the field of floriculture (production, distribution, research, or retail). Intention to work in some phase of commercial floriculture in the United States after graduation is important to be eligible.
