Scholarship Description

The United Daughters of the Confederacy offers the Jan Gwatney scholarship program. Recipient must be female. Preference given to applicants with permanent residence in Louisiana, Texas or Georgia.

Eligibility Requirements

  • 3.0 Minimum GPA
  • Must be Female
  • Type of institution award is open to: four-year college
  • Award is available to U.S. citizens

  • Wallet-sized photograph of head and shoulders, Letter of endorsement from sponsoring UDC Chapter
