Scholarship Description
The Iowa Vocational-Technical Tuition Grant (IVTG) Program provides need-based financial assistance to Iowa residents enrolled in career and technical education (CTE) programs for at least 3 credit hours at Iowa community colleges. Grants for full-time students range from $500 to $900, depending on financial need and available funds, and are used to cover tuition and fee charges. Part-time students may be eligible for adjusted amounts. Applicants must demonstrate financial need and submit through FAFSA by July 1. Applicants may apply for a second year, and in some cases a partial third year, of IVTG awards. Generally, a recipient may receive up to 4 full-time semester awards, or the quarter equivalent.

- Type of institution award is open to: trade/technical school
- Award is available to U.S. citizens
