Scholarship Description

The “Injury to Opportunity” Scholarship provides a $2,000 benefit to the children of persons who have suffered or perished from a Personal Injury Accident, or a work-related injury. Applicants must apply before their 21st birthday; must have had a parent who suffered an injury, resulting in a permanent disability or wrongful death.

  • Must have a high school diploma, GED, or be a high school student in good standing.
  • Academic achievement, aptitude, extracurricular activities, and community service of the applicant are considered
  • Award may be used for: Any undergraduate study
  • Award may be used at: Vocational/Technical school, Two-year college, Four-year college
  • Applicant must agree to allow E&T to use his/her name, photo and/or story in future scholarship materials

  • Type of institution award is open to: trade/technical school
  • Award is available to U.S. citizens
  • Award is available to Canadian citizens
  • Award is available to citizens of countries other than the U.S. and Canada.
