Scholarship Description
Up to 8 nonrenewable $40,000 grants are available to anthropology scholars within ten years of receiving their Ph.D. Must have received Ph.D. by the time of the application. Deadlines are May 1 and November 1. Applications must be downloaded and submitted online at http://www.wennergren.org/programs.
Eligibility Requirements
- Award is available to U.S. citizens
- Award is available to Canadian citizens
- Award is available to citizens of countries other than the U.S. and Canada.

The modern Wenner-Gren Foundation is a private operating foundation committed to playing a leadership role in supporting anthropology and anthropologists worldwide.
