Scholarship Description
The Howard P. Rawlings Guaranteed Access (GA) Grant is a grant that provides postsecondary financial assistance to eligible in-state students currently enrolled as high school seniors who will complete a college preparatory program or a student who has obtained a General Educational Development Diploma (GED), and is under the age of 26.
Eligibility Requirements
- 2.5 Minimum GPA
- Must currently be in high school
- For residents of the following states: Maryland
- Type of institution award is open to: two-year college
- Type of institution award is open to: four-year college
Application Requirements
- Application form required
- Transcript required
- Financial need analysis required
- Special requirements exist (These are specified in text.)
- GED examination Transcript, Dependent or Independent Student Verification Worksheet, Low Income Form, IRS Tax Transcript, Maryland State Tax Return w/Comptroller Seal, W2,1099, schedule c, Verification or Non-filing letter
