Scholarship Description
Scholars apply for grants to defray costs of traveling to the Hoover Presidential Library and Museum to do do research. Grant money is received after arriving in West Branch, IA. Grants are awarded once a year with a deadline of March 1. Research must be completed by June of the following year. There is also a grant available to cover expenses up to $2,000 to a domestic or international, scholarly audience highlighting the ideas and values of Herbert Hoover or the multi-faceted political and humanitarian work of Herbert Hoover.

- Type of institution award is open to: four-year college
- Award is available to U.S. citizens
- Award is available to Canadian citizens
