Scholarship Description

The Hispanic Dental Association Foundation is committed to supporting students through the educational process by awarding grants and scholarships to individuals with strong support from corporate partners and individual donors. Applicants should show commitment and dedication in improving and serving the oral health of the Hispanic community.

The intent of this Scholarship Program is to support promising students training in an accredited Dental Residency or Dental Specialty Program, including Dental Public Health, Endodontics, Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology, Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, Pediatric Dentistry, Periodontics, and Prosthodontics.

These scholarships are open to student members of the Hispanic Dental Association who have been accepted or enrolled into an accredited dental, dental residency, dental hygiene, dental assisting or dental laboratory technician program. Students must be a current student member of the Hispanic Dental Association.

Eligibility Requirements

• 3.0 Minimum GPA
• Type of institution award is open to: four-year college
• Must be Hispanic, Latino/a
• Award is available to U.S. citizens
