Scholarship Description
One $1000 scholarship for a student with active General Class amateur radio license who is studying at any accredited 4-year college or university. Preference is given to residents of Texas, If no qualified applicant is identified, preference will be given to residents of Arkansas. If no qualified applicant is identified, preference will be given to residents of the ARRL West Gulf (Texas, Oklahoma) or Delta (Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee) Divisions. Preference is given to women Amateur Radio operators who are performing at a high academic level. Preference is given to applicants who have made a contact in the AM mode, but is not required.
