Scholarship Description

Selection criteria: (1) Connecticut Capitol Region resident, (2) Attending a four-year college or university, (3) Music major with interest in jazz, (4) Talent as judged by a panel.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Must currently be in high school
  • Type of institution award is open to: four-year college
  • Award is available to U.S. citizens
  • Award is available to Canadian citizens

Application Requirements

  • Application form required
  • Recommendations or references required
  • Special requirements exist (These are specified in text.)
  • Entry in a contest required
  • A CD or thumb drive with recordings of the applicant reading and improvising music
