Scholarship Description
The American Institute of Polish Culture’s annual Harriet Irsay Scholarship committee is ready to receive submissions. Every year 10-15 worthy USA-based students receive $2,000 each. Applicants should preferably be of Polish heritage or involved and interested in Polish related issues.
The Harriet Irsay Scholarship Fund awards a scholarship to American students, preferably of Polish Heritage, who wish to continue their education after high school and through college. With an eye toward the future and the distribution of information regarding Polish culture, history and people, the grants are given to students from a variety of majors and academic disciplines. Since the launch of the program, more than $275,000 has been awarded to students from all over the Country.
Eligibility Requirements
- Type of institution award is open to: two-year college
- Type of institution award is open to: four-year college
- Type of institution award is open to: trade/technical school
- Award is available to U.S. citizens
- Award is available to Canadian citizens
- Award is available to citizens of countries other than the U.S. and Canada.
