Scholarship Description

$500 award and $1000 travel expenses given to a graduate student at any higher learning institution within the geographic U.S. region who is actively performing research towards a master’s or doctorate degree. Research must deal with fats, oils, and/or detergents. Must present poster of the research at the AOCS Annual Meeting and Expo.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Type of institution award is open to: four-year college
  • Award is available to U.S. citizens
  • Award is available to Canadian citizens
  • Award is available to citizens of countries other than the U.S. and Canada.

  • letter of support from a college mathematics or department of education instructor
