Scholarship Description
We strive to empower a community representative of all women in STEM and the Social Sciences. In support of our mission to cultivate a strong global community, GWIS seeks to recognize merit-based scholarship and sustained personal engagement with underrepresented communities. A maximum of $10,000 may be requested – any proposal requesting over $10,000 will be automatically disqualified. Applicants may propose research projects up to 12 month. all applicants are encouraged to become SDE/GWIS member at the time of the application. For those who are not members, there is a $50 application fee that must be paid in US dollars prior to submission of the application. Eligibility Requirements
- Must be Female
- Award is available to U.S. citizens
- Award is available to Canadian citizens
- Award is available to citizens of countries other than the U.S. and Canada.
