Scholarship Description

Fellowships designated for master’s or doctoral level students pursuing a STEM field of study with aerospace relevance.


  • U.S. citizen
  • Conducting research that supports NASA’s mission
  • Grade point average of at least 3.0
  • Must be receiving matching funds of at least $6,000 from applicant’s academic institution
  • Enrolled as a full-time graduate student at one of the Virginia Space Grant Consortium member institutions, namely:
    • The College of William and Mary
    • Hampton University
    • Old Dominion University
    • University of Virginia
    • Virginia Tech

  • 3.0 Minimum GPA
  • Award is available to U.S. citizens
