Scholarship Description
Established to support students native to the five boroughs of New York City, with preference to natives of Queens, pursuing a degree in live entertainment, with a focus on music. Career pathways can include performance, live production, music engineering, music business and related fields of study.
Eligibility and Guidelines:
- Applicant must be a full-time undergraduate student with a declared major and enrolled at an accredited college or university at the time of award in the fall semester
- Applicant may attend a university anywhere in the U.S. but must hold a permanent address within one of the five boroughs of New York City
- Applicant must be currently enrolled at an accredited college or university
- Applicant must be pursuing a degree related to a career in live entertainment
- Applicant must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
- This is a one-time award to be paid directly to a qualified educational institution
