Scholarship Description

George Choy Memorial Scholarship is named in honor of activist George Choy, who was a leader in the Asian and Pacific Islander LGBTQ movement. Supported by the Gay Asian Pacific Alliance Foundation, now known as Prism Foundation. This scholarship supports San Francisco Bay Area LGBTQ Asian and Pacific Islander students.

Eligibility Requirements

  • For residents of the following states: California
  • Type of institution award is open to: two-year college
  • Type of institution award is open to: four-year college
  • Type of institution award is open to: trade/technical school
  • Must be Asian/Pacific Islander
  • Award is available to U.S. citizens
