Scholarship Description
The Hap Arnold Grant is competitive in its needs-based selection criteria and is uniquely tailored to recognize the proper weighing of family income and education costs.
AFAS education support and tuition assistance is available to dependent sons and daughters of active duty, Title 10 Reservists on extended active duty, Title 32 Guard performing full-time active duty, retired, retired Reserve and deceased Air Force members, as well as spouses of active duty and Title 10 Reservists, and widows/widowers.
Applicants should also: (1) be a graduating high school student enrolled or accepted as a full-time undergraduate student in the upcoming academic year; (2) be enrolled or accepted in an accredited college, university or vocational/trade school approved by the U.S. Department of Education for participation in federal aid programs; (3) maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale.
