Scholarship Description
The Geiger Scholarship offers financial support for students who live on one of Maine’s unbridged islands year-round. The goal of the program is to expand the educational horizons of these students through off-island enrichment and travel programs such as summer camp, semester study abroad, and gap year programs.
To be eligible for this scholarship, which is worth between $5,000 and $10,000, applicants must reside in Cumberland County, Hancock County, Knox County, Lincoln County, or Waldo County in Maine. To be considered, applicants must submit an application and a letter of recommendation.
