Scholarship Description
Fellowship supports specialized graduate study and research in ecological restoration, the active healing of the land, at an accredited university in the United States. The proposed study should conform to the Society of Ecological Restorations definition of ecological restoration. Fields of study of past recipients have ranged from forestry to applied plant sciences to ecology and evolutionary biology.

Founded in 1913, the Garden Club of America is a volunteer, nonprofit 501(c)3 organization comprised of 200 member clubs and approximately 18,000 club members throughout the country.
