Scholarship Description

The Frederick H. Todd Scholarship is part of the SNAME Graduate Scholarships Program, and open to applicants worldwide who are members of the Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers. The scholarship is to be awarded annually, when merited in the opinion of the SNAME Scholarships Committee, to a student who is a member in good standing of SNAME looking to pursue masters level studies leading to a degree in naval architecture, marine engineering, ocean engineering or in other fields directly related to the maritime industry. The scholarship can be used by the student for tuition, textbooks, supplies, required equipment and academic fees, other academically related expenses required for enrollment at an educational institution, or for room and board or other necessary living expenses. Scholarships can only be awarded to students who will receive their master’s degree after September 1 of the calendar year in which they are applying for their scholarship.
