Scholarship Description
To be eligible for the Scholarship an applicant must be a citizen of the United States of America and enrolled in any college or university in the United States that has a graduate degree program in Architectural Acoustics, Noise Control, or Engineering Acoustics, and who has been accepted for graduate study in one of those fields. Engineering Acoustics, for the purposes of the Winker Scholarship, includes: applications of linear and nonlinear acoustics, transduction and transducers, acoustical measurements, instrumentation, and applications of signal processing to any of the aforementioned areas.
