Scholarship Description

Open to all currently enrolled nursing students across the country, the General Scholarship Program awards these scholarship funds based on a set of criteria established by the sponsor of the scholarship.  These scholarships typically reflect a specific area of specialization within the nursing profession such as oncology, critical care, or emergency nursing, or a certain population of the nursing profession that is often under-represented.  Funding is up to $7,500 per academic year.

Eligibility: Undergraduate scholarships are available to students currently enrolled in a state-approved nursing program leading to an associate degree, baccalaureate, diploma, direct-entry master’s degree, RN to BSN/MSN completion, LPN/LVN to RN, or accelerated programs. Funds are not available for graduate study unless it is for a first degree in nursing. Applicants must be a U.S. Citizen or Alien with U.S. Permanent Resident Status or hold an Alien Registration Number.
