Scholarship Description

The Florida Outdoor Writers Association Scholarship is competitive and open to students at Florida colleges and universities, or to any college student whose application is endorsed by a FOWA member or a faculty advisor. These scholarships are intended for college-aged students whose career goals are to communicate to the public appreciation for hunting, fishing and other aspects of the outdoor experience. Eligibility Requirements

  • For residents of the following states: Florida
  • Type of institution award is open to: two-year college
  • Award is available to U.S. citizens
  • Award is available to Canadian citizens
  • Award is available to citizens of countries other than the U.S. and Canada.
