Scholarship Description
Ten (10) scholarships may be awarded each year. At least one scholarship will be awarded to an individual enrolled in an approved program leading to teacher certification. A minimum 2.0 overal GPA.
Eligibility Requirements
- For residents of the following states: District of Columbia, Maryland
- Type of institution award is open to: two-year college
- Type of institution award is open to: four-year college
- Award is available to U.S. citizens
Application Requirements
- Application form required
- Transcript required
- Test scores required
- Essay required
- Special requirements exist (These are specified in text.)
- Copies of parents' and applicant's current income tax returns. Copy of acceptance letter from an accredited institution of higher education in Maryland or the District of Columbia.

The ASBO Professional Development Committee is charged with a wide range of responsibilities, all of which significantly contribute to the professional growth of the members of ASBO. The Committee has eight Subcommittees which encompass all eight core areas of school business: Finance and Administration, Purchasing, Pupil Transportation, Human Resources, Facilities and Construction, Safety and Risk Management, Food Services, and Information Technology.
