Scholarship Description
The Duke Award is a one-time award of up to $15,000 created to recognize an outstanding Hawaii high school senior who exemplifies the character and personality traits of Duke Kahanamoku. This scholarship will help raise awareness about Duke and inspire individuals to emulate his character. Applicants for the Duke Award must be nominated by a school or athletic official.
Eligibility Requirements
- 3.0 Minimum GPA
- Must currently be in high school
- Type of institution award is open to: two-year college
- Type of institution award is open to: four-year college
- Award is available to U.S. citizens
