Scholarship Description
$5000 scholarship for a qualifying senior undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a full-time degree at an accredited university or professional school. Must be a U.S. citizen of Greek descent and a resident of Pennsylvania or NJ (specific counties listed below).
Academic excellence is the primary consideration for this scholarship. Established in 1986, this annual award honors Philadelphia physician, first president and founding member of the Hellenic University Club of Philadelphia, Dr. Nicholas Padis.
Your permanent address should be in one of the counties below:
Berks, Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Lancaster, Lehigh, Montgomery, Northampton or Philadelphia Counties in Pennsylvania; Atlantic, Burlington, Camden, Cape May, Cumberland, Gloucester, Mercer, Monmouth, Ocean or Salem Counties in New Jersey; New Castle County in Delaware.
