Scholarship Description
Distinguished Young Women of California is part of a national scholarship program that promotes and rewards scholarship, leadership, and talent in young women. Applicants must be a junior in high school to participate.
College scholarships are awarded at the state level ($26,000 last year) and millions in college-granted scholarships are available ($1 billion nationally). And one representative will advance to the national program in Mobile, Alabama where they give away over $130,000 in cash tuition scholarships.
Eligibility Requirements
- Must currently be in high school
- Must be Female
- Type of institution award is open to: two-year college
- Type of institution award is open to: four-year college
- Type of institution award is open to: trade/technical school
- Award is available to U.S. citizens
