Scholarship Description

Professional scholarships are made available to individuals pursuing education and knowledge within the profession of histotechnology.

  • The recipient is recognized at the annual NSH Awards Banquet.
  • In addition, the recipient of this award receives a $1,000 scholarship.

Criteria/Applicant Requirements

  • The recipient must be an NSH member for a minimum of 2 consecutive years
  • Can be nominated or can self-apply, but must use the application form
  • Must have at least two letters of recommendation that outlines the applicant’s commitment to excellence in IHC
  • CV/Resume
  • One page narrative that describes the applicant’s current achievements in the discipline of IHC and her/his goals for standardization implementation
  • Only complete application packages received by the closing date will be considered.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Type of institution award is open to: two-year college
  • Award is available to U.S. citizens
  • Award is available to Canadian citizens
  • Award is available to citizens of countries other than the U.S. and Canada.
