Scholarship Description

This program supports the education of students working toward lineworker and other technical careers that are in high demand by electric utilities. Applicants must be students attending or planning to attend a vocational institution, lineworker school or two to four-year college/university within the U.S. and must not be graduating within 12 months of the application deadline. Official transcripts must be submitted by the application deadline.

Applicant must be a high school senior, high school graduate, or in a post secondary program at an appropriately accredited educational institution.

Spring Application Cycle is every December 1st – February 15th while Fall Application Cycle is every August 1st – October 15th.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Type of institution award is open to: two-year college
  • Type of institution award is open to: four-year college
  • Type of institution award is open to: trade/technical school
  • Award is available to U.S. citizens
  • Award is available to Canadian citizens
  • Award is available to citizens of countries other than the U.S. and Canada.
