Scholarship Description
This year’s scholarship competition is dedicated to Carrie A. Dawson, the mother of DCBF Founder, Michelle Banks. Ms. Dawson was a tireless advocate for youth education and the arts. While raising her children, she instilled in them the pursuit of academic excellence and cultural appreciation of the fine arts.
The Darin C. Banks Foundation’s Annual Collegiate Scholarship Competition awards $1,000.00 scholarships to U.S. or naturalized citizens, who are high school seniors with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.

- 3.0 Minimum GPA
- Must currently be in high school
- Award is available to U.S. citizens
