Scholarship Description
The Daniel E. Lambert Memorial Scholarship awards $1000, in which two scholarships may be awarded contingent upon the availability of funds. Interested applicants must be U.S. citizens, residents of Maine, and have a parent or grandparent who is a veteran. Evidence of being enrolled in, or attending an accredited college or vocational technical school is required. Applicants must be of good character and have demonstrated by his or her past behavior, that he or she believes in the American way of life (demonstrated through letters of recommendation). Applicants must also demonstrate financial needs through a statement showing family income/expenses or IRS Form 1040 showing family adjusted gross income and/or extenuating circumstances such as multiple siblings in college.
