Scholarship Description

A Manchester resident for at least six months at the time of application and who has been accepted for admission to a college or other accredited post-secondary schools is eligible to apply. The scholarship criteria would include the following: 1) Demonstrated financial need; 2) Clarity and seriousness of educational objectives; and 3) Evidence of ability to honor commitments.

For over fifty years the Manchester Scholarship Foundation has awarded Traditional scholarships to graduating high school seniors who are residents of Manchester using the same criteria established by the first Board of Directors in 1965-66: academic achievement, financial need, community service, school activities, work experience, and/or special talents .
