Scholarship Description
The SME Education Foundation awards scholarships to current undergraduates pursuing a manufacturing career and matriculating in engineering related courses at four-year colleges and universities within the United States or Canada.
Connie & Robert T. Gunter Scholarship
- Full-time undergraduate students enrolled in a degree program in manufacturing engineering or technology at one of the following approved institutions: Georgia Institute of Technology – Atlanta, GA Georgia Southern College – Statesboro, GA Southern College of Technology – Marietta, GA.
- Must have completed a minimum of 30 college credit hours.
- Must possess an overall minimum GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.
- May submit a scholarship application in succeeding years.
- Need is not a consideration in awarding scholarships except when two or more applicants have equal qualifications.
Eligibility Requirements
- 3.5 Minimum GPA
- For residents of the following states: Georgia
- Type of institution award is open to: four-year college
- Award is available to U.S. citizens
- Award is available to Canadian citizens
- Award is available to citizens of countries other than the U.S. and Canada.
