Scholarship Description
CALAHE is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the participation of Latinos in different areas of post-secondary education in Connecticut. The Connecticut Association of Latinos in Higher Education (CALAHE) is dedicated to promoting and advocating full access, retention and participation of Latinos/Latinas throughout Connecticut higher education.
Eligibility:
- High School Senior/GED equivalent or Undergraduate College Student
 - Latinx student from Connecticut
 - Demonstrated Financial Need
 - Accepted to or attending an accredited institution of higher education
 - A cumulative GPA of 2.75 or greater for all completed course work at the time of application.
 - Applicants must attend full time and be seeking their first undergraduate degree.
 - Demonstrated community service within the Latinx community.
 - Undocumented students may apply

 - Type of institution award is open to: two-year college
 - Type of institution award is open to: four-year college
 - Type of institution award is open to: trade/technical school
 - Must be Hispanic, Latino/a
 - Award is available to U.S. citizens
