Conditional Grant Program

Scholarship Description

The Conditional Grant Program is available to eligible students pursuing a degree in civil engineering or a department-approved operational business discipline. The Conditional Grant Program will consider both Texas public and private four-year institutions. GPA requirements: 3.00 on a four-point scale (for high school student applicants) or 2.50 on a 4.00 scale (for undergraduate student applicants). If high school applicants did not meet the GPA requirement, s/he must have a minimum score of 900 on the SAT or a minimum score of 21 on the ACT. Applicants must also agree to work for the department for two years immediately following the date of the student’s receipt of the baccalaureate degree.
