Scholarship Description
The CME Beef Industry Scholarships are awarded to students pursuing careers in the beef industry, which may include: education, communications, production, and research. Applicants must be a graduating high school senior or full-time undergraduate student who will be enrolled in a two- or four-year institution. The individual applicant or their family must be a member of the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association. The application should include a letter of intent as well as an essay with 750 words or less describing an issue confronting the beef industry and offering a solution(s). Previous scholarship winners are eligible to apply.
Eligibility Requirements
- Type of institution award is open to: four-year college
- Award is available to U.S. citizens
- Award is available to Canadian citizens
- Award is available to citizens of countries other than the U.S. and Canada.
