Scholarship Description
The Hannah Beiter Graduate Student Research Grants have a combined maximum fund of up to $5,000 per year, and individual awards may range from $500 to $1,500, based on the number and needs of the winning applicants.
Funds are not intended as income to assist in the completion of a graduate degree but as support for research that may be related to the dissertation or master’s thesis. Winners must either be members of the Children’s Literature Association or join the association before they receive any funds. Recipients of a Beiter Grant are not eligible to reapply until the third year from the date of the first award.
Eligibility Requirements
- Type of institution award is open to: four-year college
- Award is available to U.S. citizens
- Award is available to Canadian citizens
- Award is available to citizens of countries other than the U.S. and Canada.
