Scholarship Description
The Chicago Coalition for the Homeless Scholarship annually rewards $4,000 to approximately 24 graduating high school seniors in Chicago who succeeded in school while experiencing homelessness. “Homelessness” includes lacking a fixed, regular, and adequate night time residence, and includes students living in a shelter, car, motel, doubled-up situation, or places not meant for human habitation, or lacking permanent housing. Applicants must be planning on attending a post-secondary institution, and may study any field of their choice.
