Scholarship Description
One-time awards of $2500 for U.S. citizens who are Illinois residents. Minimum GPA of 2.5. Priority given to Chicagoland residents followed by Illinois residents who are attending, or will attend, a postsecondary aviation degree program in such fields as Aerospace Engineering, Air Traffic Control, Aircraft Charter, Aircraft Maintenance, Aviation Administration/Management, Aviation Flight, Avionics/Aviation Electronics, etc. At least three letters of recommendation required; at least one of these must be from a person currently employed in the field of Business Aviation. The financial statement that is included in the CABAA Scholarship Application must be completed and attached to the application. Application is posted at the web site of the University Aviation Association at http://www.uaa.aero.
