Scholarship Description

The Charlotte McGuire Scholarship Program (CMGSP) was established in 1986 through a gracious gift to the American Holistic Nurses Association. Since 1987, AHNA nurses in pursuit of their professional education have been assisted by this program. These awards celebrate the commitment of nurses to a holistic path, and are presented at AHNA’s annual conference held each year in June. Since 1997, more than $30,000 has been awarded.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Type of institution award is open to: two-year college
  • Type of institution award is open to: four-year college
  • Type of institution award is open to: trade/technical school
  • Award is available to U.S. citizens
  • Award is available to Canadian citizens
  • Award is available to citizens of countries other than the U.S. and Canada.

Application Requirements

  • Application form required
  • Recommendations or references required
  • Special requirements exist (These are specified in text.)
  • Proof of RN license, proof of college enrollment, AHNA member reference letter, evidence of Holistic practice and leadership (for graduate applicants).
