Scholarship Description
Applicant must be pursuing two-year, four-year or advanced degrees in manufacturing engineering/manufacturing technology, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or closely related engineering discipline. Consideration will be given to the following preferences: First preference will be given to a child or grandchild of a current SME Chapter 57 member; OR a current SME Student Chapter member at one of the following universities – University of Kansas, University of Central Missouri, Kansas State University. Second preference will be given to a current undergraduate or graduate student with an active SME Professional or Student Chapter membership, living within a one hundred (100) mile radius of Kansas City, MO.
