Central California Asian Pacific Women Scholarships

Scholarship Description

Central California Pacific Women prepares and empowers Asian and Pacific Island women from the Central Valley to advocate for gender and social justice by supporting and providing leadership and mentoring opportunities in the Central Valley and beyond. CCAPW scholarships provide financial assistance to Asian and Pacific Islander (API) women pursuing higher education who are from the following California counties: Fresno, Kern, Kings, Madera, Merced, San Joaquin, Stanislaus, or Tulare.

Applicants will be evaluated based on the following: first generation student, academic achievement, leadership, contribution to API community, and ethnic diversity. Applicants must be an entering/continuing undergraduate, entering/continuing graduate, or re-entry student in a college or university. Special awards are also available for students studying health and/or business.
