Scholarship Description
Table grape workers and their children are eligible for two types of scholarships from the commission: $25,000 scholarships to any four-year California college or university, or $14,500 scholarships awarded over four years to help students attend a community college and transition to a university or college. Scholarships are available to graduating seniors and high school graduates entering college for the first time. In order to be eligible, students must plan to attend a school in California. Preference will be given to those who express a commitment to a future in agriculture and/or a career in the table grape industry.
