Scholarship Description
“Bill Bruns was initiated at the Gamma-Kappa Chapter at Indiana University and has always had a strong and powerful commitment to service to others in the Fraternity, on campus, and in the community. Frater Bruns is a member of the TKE Chapter Advisor Hall of Fame and long-time refounding Chapter Advisor for the Beta-Chi Chapter at Southern Illinois University Carbondale and the Gamma Chapter at the University of Illinois, as well as the former Board of Advisors Chairman for his home chapter (Gamma-Kappa, Indiana University). This scholarship, established by his friends, family and fraters, recognizes the importance of community service in the development of young men. Criteria: All of the TKE Foundation leadership and scholarship awards are for the benefit of active collegiate members of Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity, as of March 15, as defined by The Black Book Article VI Section 2 unless otherwise specified. To be considered for this award, Fraters must be active members of the Gamma, Beta-Chi or Gamma-Kappa chapters. It is important that Fraters demonstrate service to Fraternity, campus and community. “
