Scholarship Description

This fund was established in 2007 to support one or more scholarships for graduating high school seniors who are children of active police officers or firefighters serving in the City of Reading or who are children of retired or deceased police officers or firefighters who served in the City of Reading. Preference will be given to children of active police officers or firefighters.

Eligibility Requirements

  • 3.0 Minimum GPA
  • Must currently be in high school
  • Type of institution award is open to: two-year college
  • Type of institution award is open to: four-year college
  • Type of institution award is open to: trade/technical school
