ASCPA Educational Foundation Scholarships

Scholarship Description

The ASCPA Educational Foundation awards General, Diversity in Accounting, Financial Need and CPA Exam scholarships each year.

• 23 General Scholarships ($2,500 each) to support students in each accredited accounting program throughout Alabama
• 5 Diversity in Accounting Scholarships ($2,500 each) to create a more diverse and reflective professional accounting population
• 2 Financial Need Scholarships ($2,500 each) to provide additional financial support for students who are experiencing financial difficulty
• 5 CPA Exam Fee Scholarships ($500 each) to assist students with any fees associated with taking the CPA exam

General eligibility requirements:

• Must be a member of the ASCPA
• Must be a declared accounting major
• Must utilize scholarship dollars at an Alabama college or university
• Must be a US citizen/permanent resident
