American Welding Society Foundation Welder Training Scholarship

Scholarship Description

The AWS Welder Training Scholarship is for students seeking welder training in a certificate program less than two years in length through a trade school, community college, or other facility providing welder training. The scholarship cannot be used towards an associates or bachelor’s degree program.

Eligibility Overview

1. Applicants must reside within the boundaries of an AWS District. View the AWS District and Section Map here.
2. Applicant must be planning to attend a trade school, community college, or other facility providing welder training.
3. Awards will not be made to Section officers or their families, Section Selection Committee members or their families.

Eligibility Requirements

• Type of institution award is open to: trade/technical school
• Award is available to U.S. citizens
