American Meteorological Society Minority Scholarships

Scholarship Description

Two-year scholarship of $3,000 per year for minority students entering their freshman year of college. Must plan to pursue careers in the atmospheric and related oceanic and hydrologic sciences. Must be U.S. citizen or permanent resident to apply.

• 3.0 Minimum GPA
• Type of institution award is open to: two-year college
• Type of institution award is open to: four-year college
• Must be American Indian/Alaska Native
• Must be Black, African American
• Must be Hispanic, Latino/a
• Award is available to U.S. citizens
